Karma. I think you get it for good posts and its subtracted for bad posts. Goodness knows why ive got three. Also I have entered a contesst technically speaking :P

Yes you get +1 Karma for each post you vote up and each time you thank someone. You get -1 for each negative vote.

The contests slot is new and I created it this morning and had to go to school. Let me finish it up so I can start adding peoples up.

The four leaf clover = Karma. You can get karma by voting a post up or thanking someone. You can loose karma by voting a post down.

Contests entered are just how many contests you have entered

Karma has no purpose really it just keeps track of your luck and red flags are contests entered.
